Commercial Cleaning
Why it Pays to be Clean
The image your company portrays begins with the exterior of your building. Your establishments parking lot,
sidewalks, awnings, windows, walls, and roof speaks volumes to potential passing clientel. Clients may
question the quality of your product/service if approaching an unclean building. If left unkept long enough, it
may actual result in a drop in clients, which in todays economy no one can afford.
As well as the overall appearance of your building, unkept parking lots and sidewalks may actually cost you
lawsuits. Over time parking lots will accrue black slick spots under the vehicles. This is due to an
accumulation of oil and antifreeze (among other fluids). If a client is walking through your parking lot, slips
and injures themselves, you will be held liable. With every other add on television being a lawyer claiming
they can sue for just about anything, frivolous lawsuits are on the rise.
Finally, and perhaps less thought about, is the cleaning and replacement cost of flooring on the interior of
your establishment. Everything that you clients step in outside your building, will be tracked inside. This can
include oil, grease, antifreeze, gum, sticky soft drinks, food, and animal waste.
